dimensions of dialogue

Game of trust in a meeting ritual.

Linking apparatuses are worn to extend the head, to try to catch, get a grip on strangers. Connecting without spoken language, intuitively creating a common sense with plant-like tentacles and other sensory tools. Confronting one self with an incomprehensible other.

The project Dimensions of Dialogue was also practiced together with people with autism who live together in a healthcare institute.

During my visits to the healthcare institute, I was inspired by the expression "Blind lead the blind" as a metaphor for uncertainty and the subtle boundary between different normalities. During the practices I especially wanted to investigate the relationship between "patient" and "doctor" . By letting them work together with the sensory tools we made an attempt to break barriers.
